Pfister Evolves In-Home Water Experience with Faucets of the Future Showcase at Kitchen & Bath Industry Show

Jan 10, 2017
Innovative Brand Takes Water Experiences to Higher Levels with New Technology and Over 100 New Faucets

ORLANDO, Florida—Jan. 10, 2017—Pfister, an industry leader in plumbing fixtures with many first to market products, today debuted Water Over Wire (WOW technology) at KBIS booth #W117. The unveiling of WOW entailed three new faucet concepts that demonstrate new technologies for the connected home that allow for limitless design opportunity and unsurpassed functionality. In addition to showcasing the future of water dispensing with WOW, Pfister introduced more than 100 new faucets fueling an ongoing evolution in the kitchen and beyond.

Pfister’s innovative showcase at KBIS 2017 enables show attendees to see, hear, touch and even taste how Pfister’s technology is taking water experiences to higher levels of thoughtful design, durability, eco-friendly functionality and improved health.

“Why should a faucet be limited to simply turning on and off, and why can’t we ask it to do more?” said Jamie Dorman, group marketing manager for Pfister, Spectrum Brands, Inc. – Hardware and Home Improvement Division. “Raising these questions led to the development of the WOW design concepts: a handle-free faucet, a built-in LED task light concept designed to illuminate the workspace, and the Auris faucet, which is the first in the industry to use voice control to turn water on and off, activate an electronic measuring cup, and dispense instant boiling water all in one faucet."

Every product Pfister develops builds upon more than 100 years of experience and leadership in delivering the perfect balance of design, innovation and functionality. Pfister is continuing that tradition with the introduction of more than 100 new faucets and other related products that will be on display throughout the booth.

TISBURY COLLECTION

Tisbury, Pfister’s largest bath collection to-date, is inspired by architectural elements from classic home interiors, but features a cleaner, modernized approach to details while offering state-of-the-art functionality within a clean, timeless, traditional design. Long drawn-out profile curves are balanced by tightly finessed ogee curves on the faucet and are repeated throughout the design.

Tisbury products and accessories include faucets, bath tubs, showers, tub fillers, slide bars, diverters, and towel bars that look consistent with fixtures on steamships, classic trains and in grand hotel suites of the golden age of travel. Tisbury fixtures are available with straight levers as well as attractive cross-handles, and the entire Tisbury Collection is available exclusively through Ferguson.

UFFIZI COLLECTION

The UFFIZI Collection of faucets by FORTIS (exclusively distributed by Pfister) delivers “clear luxury” through the use of handcrafted Italian glass, polished chrome and impeccable construction. UFFIZI’s first-of-its-kind design enables users to actually see the water rise in an elegant glass cylinder before it cascades over the chrome spout.

Pfister has pioneered unique water delivery through its trough faucets for more than 10 years, but the new UFFIZI collection of glass faucets represents the next level of luxury and exclusivity, enabling consumers to experience water like never before. The Uffizi collection includes a widespread, single control, vessel and wall mount lavatory faucets as well as coordinating accessories and is available in polished chrome.

XTRACT FILTRATION SOLUTIONS

Environmental concerns are also being raised over the massive volume of plastic waste that is produced from bottled drinking water. XTRACT filtration system help address both of these challenges by producing cleaner, better tasting water that rivals products from bottled water companies.

Pfister faucets with Xtract technology deliver great-tasting filtered water and regular tap water from a single faucet, 2X faster than typical water filter products. Xtract uses GE® 2X High Flow Filtration technology to improve the quality and safety of drinking water in homes by reducing contaminants such as pharmaceuticals, chlorine, lead and cysts from your drinking water all within the footprint of your current kitchen faucet. Xtract technology is currently available on the Clarify and Lita models.
